Abstract

Laser cladding layer height was uniformity, which will directly affect the quality of laser cladding surface and processing accuracy. Right through the laser cladding layer height automatic detecting control, laser cladding process can improve quality and stability of cladding process. The database of relation between laser cladding layer height and cladding process parameters was establish. And it was also established the closed-loop automatic control model of laser cladding layer height: the eigenvalue of taking laser cladding layer height in image from IR CCD camera as control system feedback signal, the database as control foundation, and the laser cladding process parameters (laser power, laser scanning speed, ratio of powder feeding, laser-beam spot diameter) was controlled to executed automatic detecting control laser cladding layer height.Laser cladding layer height was uniformity, which will directly affect the quality of laser cladding surface and processing accuracy.
