Abstract
A straightforward method based on a solution of the transport-of-intensity equation for laser beam quality M2 factor measurement is presented. Demonstrated experimental results prove that the approach is valid. Reconstruction of the other laser beam spatial parameters is presented, namely: radius, waist position, angular divergence, Rayleigh length and quality parameter.
