Abstract

The Spanish society is in a situation of systemic crisis, affecting all levels and areas. Withinthem, Education has suffered numerouscuts and adjustments, generating a reduction inteachers, services, grants and scholarship. Educational community as a whole has been involved in this venture. That is why it has acted from the very beginning of the crisis. In the protests, the role of parentsremains essential as they participate and promote them. This paper examines this process through a qualitative study conducted among the educational community of La Rioja, particularly among parents, teachers and management teams of schools. This article focuses on the relationship between the actors/stakeholders of the educational community considered in the context of protests and demands, the channels established between them and the results of the claim, at the time.
