Abstract

Resuscitation in the delivery room is a crucial part in management of a newborn. Endotracheal intubation remains an important step during neonatal resuscitation. It is a highly skilled procedure that is not without complication even if performed by highly experienced medical personnel. We report one rare complication of a laryngoscope bulb that was dislodged and ingested by the newborn patient.
