Abstract

Additional distinguishing characters have been found in nymphs of the stoneflies Megarcys ochracea and M. magnilobus. A previously unknown nymph of M. pseudochracea is described and illustrated. A key to the Palaearctic species is based on differences in the body color pattern, chaetotaxy, and size of the submental, supracoxal, and meso- and metathoracic gills. New data on the biology and distribution of M. ochracea and M. magnilobus are presented.
