Abstract

AbstractExperience gained with the implementation of a large scale data system in a major school district is reviewed. In particular, the following aspects are discussed: estimation of resource time requirements at user sites; parallel with an existing system and criteria for changeover; specialization of user skills; and system linkage to other data management systems.
