Abstract

In this paper, vertically aligned carbon nanotube (CNT) emitters on nickel film were synthesized by microwave plasma chemical vapor deposition for large current field emission applications. The as-grown CNT arrays were characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Also the field emission current density against applied voltage and the F-N plot of plasma etched CNTs were measured
