Abstract
Closed-form solutions are presented for the problem of large deflection of a cantilever beam with a couple and a concentrated load acting simultaneously at the free end. Dimensionless charts are provided which relate the variables maximum vertical deflections, maximum horizontal deflections, couple and force.
