Abstract
This video presents a surgical case of laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy for a large, multi-fibroid uterus. The video is targeted toward the beginning and intermediate gynecologic laparoscopist. In addition to describing the details of this particular case, we also sought to provide general recommendations and strategies for successful management of laparoscopic hysterectomies for large, bulky uteri-including issues of trocar placement, uterine manipulation, and avoidance of iatrogenic bowel or lower urinary tract injuries.
