Abstract

The video shows the case of a 66-year old male patient who underwent one year earlier, laparoscopic resection for mid rectal cancer, following radio-chemotherapy (Folfiri + Cetuximab, 12 courses). At diagnosis the patient presented with synchronous colorectal liver metastases: 2 lesions of 5 cm in segments 5–8, invading the right hepatic vein and 2 lesions of 5 cm in segments 6–7. At pathology it was an adenocarcinoma of the rectum, pT3 N1c M1, TRG 3. The patient was referred to our Unit after other 10 courses of chemotherapy. The CT scan showed a partial clinical response. A laparoscopic right hepatectomy was planned.
