Abstract

Abstract Long-gap rectal atresia, as defined by a distance greater than 3 cm, is an uncommon type of a rare anorectal malformation (ARM). . We report the successful completion of a 3-stage procedure including colostomy and mucous fistula creation, laparoscopic-assisted transanal endorectal pull-through, and colostomy take-down in a patient with long-gap rectal atresia.
