Abstract
Intraperitoneal rupture of urinary bladder is a common condition associated with pelvic fractures. This is a true surgical emergency managed conventionally by open laparotomy with single layer or double layer repair. We performed total laparoscopic repair of an intraperitoneal rupture of bladder. A 25-year-old woman presented with fracture of both pubic rami and signs of bladder rupture after a road traffic accident. Ruptured urinary bladder and other visceral injuries were sutured laparoscopically. Laparoscopic repair of intraperitoneal rupture of urinary bladder is an effective and minimally invasive technique.
