Abstract

A trichobezoar is a ball of swallowed hair that collects in the stomach and fails to pass through the intestine. A 23-year-old woman presented with lump abdomen and vomiting, and endoscopy confirmed a giant trichobezoar in the stomach. Here, we are reporting a novel technique for laparoscopic anterior gastrotomy and trichobezoar removal through a 3-cm size Pfannenstiel incision.
