Abstract
Background: Laparoscopic standard distal pancreatectomy nowadays is a standard operation technic in management of malignant and benign lesions of pancreatic body and tail. But promising data about advantages of radical antegrade modular pancreatosplenectomy (RAMPS) such as higher R0 resection rate and number of lymph nodes gives us new field to implement this technic in our practice in laparoscopic way. We think that performing by experienced laparoscopic HPB surgeon laparoscopic RAMPS can be as safe as laparoscopic standard distal pancreatectomy is.
