Abstract
In vitro fertilization (IVF) has become the preferred treatment approach for women with diminished ovarian reserve (DOR). Although there is a high prevalence of endometriosis in this population, data is lacking as it relates to the potential benefits of laparoscopy prior to IVF. The aim of this study is to determine whether laparoscopic peritoneal excision of endometriosis improves IVF live birth rates in women under 41 years of age with DOR.
