Abstract

A 55-year-old female presented with pelvic pressure. She was diagnosed with stage 3 anterior and apical uterine prolapse. Patient expressed a desire to maintain the uterus. Pelvic ultrasound revealed several small posterior fibroids. Multiple, larger, fibroids were observed laparoscopically. The best option treatment to preserve the uterus was determined to be a laparoscopic myomectomy of posterior uterine wall in order to debulk the uterus to a size that the mesh sacralcolpopexy could be completed.
