Abstract

1.To review the key steps in male-to-female gender reassignment surgery using penile-scrotal skin flaps.2.To illustrate the approach to laparoscopic mesh sacrocolpopexy (LSC) in a complicated case The term ‘transsexual’ was coined The true incidence of prolapse of the neovagina after male-to-female gender reassignment surgery is unknown. We present a case of laparoscopic mesh sacrocolpopexy in a 58 year old transsexual with recurrent vaginal prolapse and multiple previous laparotomies. The video illustrates the differences in anatomy of the male pelvis and the principles of laparoscopic mesh sacrocolpopexy.
