Laparoscopic icg-guided uncinate process resection for a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor

Abstract

Background: The use of continuous infusion of indocyanine green allows adequate pancreatic parenchymal concentration without causing surrounding tissues to uptake an abnormal amount of ICG, which can be seen during bolus administration. For pancreaticoduodenectomies, we find continuous ICG infusion particularly helpful during the uncinate process resection.
