Abstract

Abstract: This research presents a real-time collision detection and lane assistance system implemented using Python and OpenCV. The system leverages computer vision techniques to detect vehicles and lane lines, calculate distances to detected objects, and issue timely alerts to prevent collisions. The implementation aims to enhance driver safety by providing real-time feedback about the vehicle's surroundings. This paper details the system's design, methodology, and performance evaluation.
