Abstract
This essay considers the field of postqualitative inquiry alongside Bruno Latour’s arguments for a new political landscape in his book Down to Earth. The postqualitative movement and Latour provide insight into what inquiry might look like in a postanthropocentric world, yet leave much unaddressed in terms of social justice and Western colonialism. These are challenges that this essay works through in an attempt to “land” social inquiry in a more sustainable and equitable fashion.
