Abstract

This paper studies the problem of lag synchronization for a kind of neural networks with mixed delays including discrete and distributed delays via adaptive intermittent control. By using stability analysis method and introducing a piecewise continuous auxiliary function, some global lag synchronization criteria are derived. It is noted that the control periods as well as the control widths in our adaptive intermittent control scheme are nonidentical, which is more practically applicable than the periodically intermittent control strategy with fixed control period and control width simultaneously adopted widely in previous works. Finally, an example with simulations is presented to verify the validity of the obtained theoretical results.
