Abstract
The purpose of this writing is to analyze and find out the position of strong women in politics in Indonesia. As a result of Indonesian politics experiencing significant and increasingly mature developments, the emergence of female names as a representation of Indonesian women. The research method uses literature studies from various reliable and accountable sources. The results of the study explain that the results of the analysis regarding Megawati's existence in Indonesian politics as well as becoming a female figure who is still involved in national politics and being the sole elite in the leadership of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P). This cannot be separated from indoctrination through the understanding of inheritance from the father. Cognitive aspects that are selling points in political competition are both Curtain (traits), Belief (trust), Complexity of thoughts and patterns of reasoning. These aspects later shaped Megawati so that Megawati's quality could not be doubted. Megawati's lasting power and influence and no other figure can replace her.
