Abstract
There is limited data on the dose received by the lacrimal gland (LG) during whole brain radiation therapy (WBRT) and the associated clinical symptoms. Radiation dose tolerance of the LG has been described between 24-40 Gy in 2 Gy fractions (fx). We aim to determine the radiation dose given to the LG during WBRT using palliative fractionation schemes and the acute clinical symptoms associated with the radiation dose.
