Abstract

Nicotine, administered by sub-cutaneous injection over a period of six weeks, was found to be ineffective in breaking male mouse chromosomes as judged by dominant lethal tests. In addition, no indication of an effect of nicotine on the fertility of female mice, or on the development of the foetusin utero, was found.
