Abstract

Chromosomes of Chinese hamster lymphocytes were analysed before and after oral administration of cyclohexylamine and before and after reactive haematopoiesis. The reactive haematopoiesis was induced by the taking of the relatively large sample of blood necessary for lymphocyte cultures. No increase in chromosome aberrations was found in the cultures prepared after the production of new blood cells. Cyclohexylamine, however, induced a significant increase in structural chromosome abnormalities.
