Abstract

This work resumes and carries on the scholarly discussion on the relationship between psychoanalytic conceptualization of the unconscious and language use in the field of Lacanian discourse analysis and in the methodological perspective of emotional textual analysis, which is rooted in the work of Renzo Carli. Based on research data, the authors discuss key theoretical tenets, as well as similarities and differences between both approaches.
