Abstract

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is a rather new integration entity. It was established in 2015 and now it consists of 5 Member States. There are very few integration entities in the world where Common Labour markets exist. Actually, the most fully functioning labour market are in the European Union and the EAEU. The design features of the EU were taken as a model for development of the EAEU. It also should be noted that both integration blocs face similar socio-demographic and economic challenges. The study focuses on analysis of migration policies of the EAEU Member States, legislative regulation, importance of free movement of labour for economic development. The paper discusses if there are any similarities in terms of functioning of the EAEU and the EU Labour Markets.
