Abstract

Results are presented of laboratory measurements of microwave frequencies of C-13H3OH in the 9-96 GHz region. The data cover all rotational transitions with J up to 31, the absolute value of k up to 6, and the quantum number for the torsional vibrational state equal to zero. Some data are also provided for the J = 0 yields 1 and 1 yields 2 transitions for torsional quantum numbers 1 and 2 and b-type transitions for a torsional quantum number of 1. The observations confirm that the U line emission at 85.970 GHz in Ori A arises from methyl alcohol. 16 references.
