Abstract

In this study, the heat dissipation regularity and road performance of the asphalt pavement of traditional paving and double-layer paving methods are studied, and test pieces with different preparation methods are designed to simulate different paving methods. The temperature test is used to test the temperature dissipation law, and the interlayer shear test, the rutting test, and the low-temperature bending test are used to test the road performance. The results show that the two-layer paving method’s heat loss is less, which indicates that it has a longer construction time. The interlaminar bonding performance, high-temperature performance, and low-temperature performance of the double-layer paving method are higher than those of the traditional paving method.
