Abstract

Hairy Cell leukemia, a disease primarily of B lymphocytes, is relatively rare and shares characteristics with other leukemias and lymphomas. Its definitive diagnosis requires a combined analysis: morphology, enzyme cytochemistry, surface markers, and immunophenotyping. (The J of Histotechnol 10: 191, 1987).
