Abstract

We report laboratory measurements of the Zeeman response of lines in the 0-0 Wing-Ford band of the F-X system ( λ ~ 1 μ m) of FeH, measured in magnetic fields 0.3 – 0.5 Tesla. New Lande factors are used to deduce the magnetic field in sunspots from Stokes V profiles recorded at the solar telescope THEMIS. The magnetic field deduced from atomic lines (Ti, Fe) is slightly higher than that found from FeH.
