Abstract
AbstractAutomation systems for the archaeological laboratory described here include an artifact cataloging system employing custom software and a precision electronic balance and sliding calipers linked directly to a computer, software for “pasting” instrument data directly into commercially-available software programs, and identification of small artifacts by means of videomicroscopy.
