Abstract

Abstract Extract The title of this contribution has been chosen somewhat advisedly, since the diagnosis of Johne's Disease still rests to an appreciable degree on clinical examination. The symptoms of Johne's disease, beingprincipally those of a chronic wasting disease, usually associated with scouring, are simulated by several other conditions, however, and few veterinarians would be content with a diagnosis basedon clinical symptoms alone.
