Abstract

Objective: Labial agglutination is a common vulvar problem in children. Topical estrogen is generally first line therapy with surgical separation reserved for those cases that do not respond and have significant adhesions or urinary symptoms. The objective of this study is to review cases of labial agglutination treated at our institution and determine the causes for failures of estrogen therapy requiring surgical intervention.
