Abstract

The purpose of this research is to contribute to the discussion about how to develop the ethics of social science researchers based on the reading of Aristotle's work. To this end, the research reflects on ethics and practical science in various works of Aristotelian philosophy, such as the Nicomachean Ethics, the Politics, the Metaphysics, About the Soul and the Research on Animals. Furthermore, in order to apply Aristotelian ethics to the training of current social researchers, the research build an overview of research ethics and the ethical training of today's researchers. Since the overview reveals that there is little clarity about the ethical training of practical (social) researchers, the research builds pedagogical strategies based on Aristotle's work.
