Abstract
The article provides a critical edition of chapter 32, ÏεÏί ÏÏÏμάÏÏν, of the Latin-Greek glossary of the so-called Hermeneumata Celtis (ms. Wien, Ãsterreichische Nationalbibliothek suppl. Gr. 43, fol. 37v). The commentary compares each item with the analogous pairs present in the glossaries of the Corpus glossariorum Latinorum. Furthermore, various exegetical questions are addressed, e. g. album / Î»ÎµÏ ÎºÏÏαιον (ms. Î»ÎµÏ ÎºÎ¿Ïγον), âwhitishâ; asperum / ÏÏαÏÏ, âwhiteâ; viscinum / ἰξιοειδÎÏ, âof the colour of mistletoeâ, perhaps âredâ; veneteum / ÏελιÏν, âlividâ; varium / διάÏεÏκον, âduskyâ or âspottedâ.
