Abstract

Taking the concept of praxis, along this writing it is intended to elucidate the sense of this in relation to the theory, and on the other hand, in relation to the old theme of philosophy about the human life’s goal; that is, about a “supreme good”. Nowadays, this is a difficult topic to treat. Nevertheless, from contemporary authors such as Habermas, Marcuse and others, it is addressed by answering the following questions: Can science and technology be considered as ideological praxis? Which could be the revolutionary praxis today, after the metanarratives’ crisis? From a Christian perspective that resumes Kierkegaard’s approach, a revolutionary praxis means to situate oneself not within the field of ideologies, but in the praxis of “love”.
