Abstract

The punctuation is at the borderline between orthography, grammar and style and it is still a wide open theme to study. Its complexity, its connection with oral, and sometimes the lack of standards acknowledged make its teaching difficult. An analisis of 42 ground school books confirms that punctuation teaching is uneasy because the knowledge is still vague and not very structured in those books. A reflexion on its teaching is still to construct.
