Abstract

La “Introducción” de Kant a la Crítica de la Razón Pura y las cuestiones 5 y 6 del Comentario al De Trinitate de Boecio de Santo Tomás, representan un preludio a la naturaleza de la ciencia y la metafísica. No obstante, Aquino no concibe una metafísica racionalista, correctamente criticada por Kant, sino un conocimiento que continúa el pensamiento físico, que no el matemático. Este modus sciendi diferentede la metafísica y la matemática muestra el alcance limitado de la crítica metafísica kantiana a la philosophia perennis.
