Abstract

This article explores the pre-eminence of the drawing in the work of Rafael Moneo, coinciding with the first retrospective of the architect’s career. The study examines how the strong focus of the exhibition on the role of the drawing, most notably in the exhibition catalogue, makes this retrospective a veritable manifesto for Moneo’s architectural thought.
