For a better approach of the dancers pathologies, practitioners should take account a fundamental notion: the functional turnout. Notion, which has been developed in international dance medicine literature for 10 years. Understanding tendinomuscular unbalance, the abilities but also the limits of a dancer, enables to make an accurate diagnosis and to give the adequate treatment.
