Abstract

The coastline of Le Petit-Trégor is the center of considerable damage linked to natural phenomena and to human factors. The failure to recognize the laws which govern the littoral site represents a risk for the coastal ecosystem and for society. The study of the shoreline must be carried out in a synthetic way so as to understand the functioning of the system and to try to restore or to curb the damage. A geoecological study, integrating mankind into the center of the littoral system, provides a global vision and allows for better management and protection.
