Abstract

This paper assumes that there are many cultures coexisting in the world. Moreover, that inside each culture, there are many approaches such as: the technique one, hermeneutic one and critical one. The author wonders about the role of the culture, in general, and the University, in particular, in order to clarify the information and the globalisation age. He responses that it seems more logical to expect, from the critical approach, the construction of a University, which addresses its resources, teaching and research to serve a fair society. The emergence of a critical subject may contribute for the elimination of the blooding inequalities, which produces a global social order from the economical point of view. For this, that new kind of University may emphasize two big educational dimensions: the international cooperation and a global society filled with solidarity.
