Abstract
Teniendo como eje el concepto de novum de Darko Suvin, y estableciendo una estrecha relación con la teoría queer, este artículo analiza la novela Vagabunda Bogotá de Luis Carlos Barragán como una propuesta ficcional que permite abordar una visión no binaria del género, al tiempo que expande imaginariamente el campo de la sexualidad. Para ello, el artículo ofrece un previo mapeo sobre el estatuto del género de ciencia ficción en Latinoamérica y en el marco de la literatura colombiana donde se inscribe la novela de Barragán.
