Abstract

The aim of this paper is essentially pedagogic. The scholar thinks over the problems of various kinds of critical editions within the limits of Latin Philology, and he shows the most suitable process for this labour in the case of literary texts. Therefore, he takes care of different parts of this task, the most relevant items to deal with and their order in a book.
