Abstract

Semantic Dysmnesia is a disorder that is not often mentioned in the literature and is not well identified in child and adolescent clinics, although some studies on this disorder put forward a prevalence of about 6%. We present the case of Léthé which illustrates both the clinical picture and two hypotheses put forward in the literature to explain the lack of recognition. This clinical case was focused on the realization of a psychological assessment following the first alert in order to propose guidelines to identify the cognitive disorder with the WISC-V as a first intention and complementary batteries on the transversal cognitive functions. This case study completes the literature on the clinical elements to be identified and on the etiology of dysmnesia.
