Abstract
The other contributions to this special issue have analyzed in detail the content and impact of the Consumer Sales Directive; this article will refrain from doing this one more time. First, the present state of Luxembourg Sales Law will be discussed. In the following, it will be compared to the requirements of the Directive in order to identify the issues, which require an intervention of the Luxembourg legislator in the transposition process. In this regard, it has to be noted that so far, the Luxembourg government has presented no proposal aimed at implementing the Directive into Luxembourg Law.
