Abstract

Description of two mutilated folia (parchment, early 12th century), formerly of the Benedictine priory of St. Walburga at Chiny and now in the State Archives at Arlon (in the province of Luxembourg, Belgium). The texts preserved in this fragment of a legendary are from BHL 428 and 430. In opposition to the normal text of BHL 430 (ed. M. Bonnet), that in the Chiny manuscript specifies that the Apostle Andrew was crucified head downwards.
