Abstract

The construction sector and its production system greatlycontribute and impact the environment where it is developed. This is measured by the resource consumptionand the waste it generates. Consequently, this economicsector has a high responsibility in the context of changeclimate. Therefore, its actions are considered within thestrategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation.This sector should then be included in the search forsustainability and work towards the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in order to keep global warmingfrom exceeding +2 °C. This paper aims at reflecting onArchitecture’s responsibility on the implementation ofclean production strategies in order to mitigate climatechange effects and impact.
