Abstract
<p>Los trabajos de consolidación estructural en la Villa Poiana, una obra singular de Palladio por haber sido concebida y construida únicamente con bóvedas, sin recurrir a estructuras lígneas, representa una extraordinaria lección de lectura de la evolución de la degradación estructural del edificio a lo largo del tiempo, así como una intervención ejemplar por su capacidad de acomodarse en esta historia progresiva de lesiones y deformaciones, diseñando un refuerzo añadido que cuenta de partida con la estructura histórica y sus refuerzos progresivos. Resulta igualmente interesante el análisis del daño que pueden provocar las intervenciones realizadas con hormigón armado sobre las estructuras históricas, entre otros motivos, por el gran peso añadido a la estructura.</p>
